Partial LTR Design of Optimal Output Disturbance Cancellation Controllers for Non-Minimum Phase Plants

چکیده
For non-minimum phase plants, a partial LTR design of optimal output disturbance cancellation controllers is discussed. A target recoverable by the partial LTR procedure is identified as an output injection with a frequency-shaped gain matrix. The partial LTR result is used to clarify system-theoretic meaning of enforcing the minimum phase LTR procedure. It is shown that the partial LTR procedure provides more design freedom in shaping target feedback property than the enforced minimum phase LTR procedure.

Integral Controller Design Based on Disturbance Cancellation via Partial Ltr
For non-minimum phase plants, integral controller design based on disturbance cancellation is discussed. A new partial loop transfer recovery (LTR) technique is proposed. The target of the output feedback design is a minimum phase state feedback controller including a disturbance estimator. It is shown that the feedback property of the target can be recovered by a formal procedure using a Ricca...
متن کاملDesign of Nonlinear Robust Controller and Observer for Control of a Flexible Spacecraft
Two robust nonlinear controllers along with a nonlinear observer have been developed in this study to control a 1D nonlinear flexible spacecraft. The first controller is based on dynamic inversion, while the second one is composed of dynamic inversion and µ-synthesis controllers. The extension of dynamic inversion approach to flexible spacecraft is impeded by the non-minimum phase characteristi...
متن کاملRobust frequency-shaped LQ control
Certain frequency-shaped standard linear quadratic (LQ) controllers involving state feedback have attractive loop robustness properties. These robustness properties may vanish in passing to an output feedback scheme, as when state estimates are used instead of states. The known exception to date is when the plants are minimum phase and state estimation with loop recovery is used, as in LQG/LTR ...

In this paper, an MIMO boiler control problem of Benchmark PID 2012 is studied, and a multi-loop PID control system is designed by our data-driven loop-shaping method. Our method is applicable to non-minimum phase or time-delay SISO plants very easily especially for stable plants, and a good disturbance rejection can be attained with a specified stability margin. The boiler model has non-minimu...
متن کاملActive noise control using robust feedback techniques
With the resurgence of active noise control in the past two decades, the design and implementation of optimal noise cancellers has been a topic of considerable research. Recently, much of the investigation is focused on fixed controllers that rely on the robustness of closed loop systems to deal with poorly parameterized or changing plants. Many acoustic systems employ internal model controller...
